I was trying to open a TestComplete project on a different computer than the one I developed it on and none of the objects are mapped on the new PC, despite having an identical NameMapping.tcMN file. Is there a way to "apply" the Name Mapping file that I didn't see? The only other way I can think of is to manually go and remap every object that is mapped on my original PC, but that doesn't seem practical.

I am not sure why you are not seeing the objects mapped but there is a very easy solution to this issue!
You can merge the old NameMapping file into the one that doesnt have the objects, please see this link for information on how to do this: https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/object-identification/name-mapping/how-to/merge.html

This did not work. However, I was able to fix it by updating TestComplete. The version I had originally developed the code on was 14.80 something, and the system I was trying to load it on was running 14.20. Once I updated the new system it seemed to work.
