Is It Possible to Integrate TestComplete with QuickFix API Desktop Application in order to API Test

Hi,

 

We have Desktop Product which are based on QuickFix Protocols and we want to use TestComplete as a Automation Test tool via API Testing. 

 

Is it Possible to do? Because i reviewed some documents and Trainings and it seems like you have SOAP UI for API Tests and TestComplete is mor look like developed for a UI Testing?

 

Can you please recommend also more documents if we can more learn about this issue?

    You are correct.  While TestComplete has some features that allow for API testing, for a fully robust testing tool for API, the best tool is SoupUI and ReadyAPI.
