Image repository or Regions?

Hi all,

Would we be bettter off using the "Images Repositry"  for this even though it's designed for testing mobile apps?

We have a a section of our application that uses map graphics and have sucessfully used a "Regions" repositry to store images, and a set of scripts to locate and click/check images found in the application maps.

The Image Repositry property pages seem to hold more information, eg transparency, colour and pixel tolerances etc whereas we cannot do this with Regions without linking those properties in otherways (hardcoded or DDT/tables)

(Would be good if there was user-defined properties for the Repositry objects )

Thanks

  • Hi Jpr347,

If you want to keep images of your test step, as well as to have access to objects’ properties, I suggest that you take a look at TestComplete’s Visualizer feature.

Using the Image Repository feature requires an additional module – for mobile testing. The TestComplete license will cost more.
