How to do ROT registration Explicitly for an excel application.

Hello,



I have situation where external application is opening excel and when i am trying to access OLE Object for this excel , i see its not properly loaded with all properties and contain lot of errors.  After looking in to Smart Bear forums i understood that ROT registration is not properly done in my case.



So i would like to know how to explicitly do ROT registration for an open excel application using JAVA SCRIPT.  



Note: I also tried work around, "Giving focus to another window other than office window for excel to proceed ROT registration"  as suggested in HELP of TestComplete but it did not work for me. 



I request someone help me understand how ROT registration can be explicitly done for an open application using JAVA SCRIPT.
