File checkpoint question

Hi! I'm going through the training and just watched the video on file compare checkpoints. In the video, Lino shows where you can compare the results by clicking a link in the Keyword Test Log.  I tried to mimic his steps, but when I got to the keyword test log, I could not find the link to allow me to compare.

Could it be because I am trying to compare .dat files?

Thanks,

Kevin

  • I haven't watched the video in a while... but IIRC, what was demonstrated has to do with comparing text files where you can get a result that shows the differences between the two files.  If you are comparing binary DAT files, the best a Files.Compare can do is tell you that the binary files are different.

Thanks Robert, I figured as such, but thought that I would check just in case.

      All the best...
