Fifefox 99

When is TestComplete going to update the Firefox add-on to version 99? The two applications usually sync up their updates rather well. Firefox 99 has been available (and forced upon us) since April 5th. I haven't been able to test in Firefox since then. Thanks!

Thanks for filing a ticket with us. Unfortunately we are currently experiencing some transitional events in our support and dev departments, and our devs currently cannot provide patches for the latest versions of Firefox. I would expect this to be resolved sometime in the coming weeks, but for now our recommendation is to downgrade firefox and turn off auto updates. If you need any assistance with this process, let me know.

Any update on this or ETA? Firefox has just released version 100, so support is now 2 versions behind.

Our environment is such that Firefox is auto-updated to the latest version within a few days of release, so the lack of Firefox patches has broken TestComplete for us. 😕

TestComplete is consistently 1 update behind Firefox. Firefox forces you to get their updates. I've tried workarounds (apparently the wrong ones) but Firefox still seems to update.

Can we ever expect to use Firefox again? I know it's a very small percentage of users. However, Firefox works faster with TestComplete than any other browser--by far. Any time I can save a few seconds on a test, all of those seconds add up.

Please start keeping the Firefox addon up to date. ğŸ™‚

Hi mcbane Thank you for raising this issue.  (and thanks AlexKaras for alerting me) I have reached out to our team about this. We can start work on new Firefox support after a Firefox release. The last release 109 is not supported yet but we are working on it. Unfortunately, we are not able to support a Firefox release just after their release as we need some time to make changes.  Apologies, that is the reason why TestComplete Firefox support is 1 version behind Firefox.
