Does TestComplete Desktop run on Linux?

We use a Linux hardware device to run our Web Start client app.

    Hi,

TestComplete is essentially Windows-based application and thus cannot run on Linux/Unix systems and drive applications there.

Hovewer, if the only thing that you need is to start/stop some application/daemon, read/write some data file or do similar simple actions, TestComplete can communicate with Unix systems via corresponding bridge and perform the actions like above. You may try to search this forum for the thread that discussed communication with the Unix systems if you need this. Or let me know and I should be able to provide you with the link - I just do not have it at hand as we speak.
