What version of TestComplete are you currently running? Chrome has updated recently to versions 60 and 61 and TestComplete version 12.31 supports those straight "out of the box". If you're running an older version of TC, you should upgrade to the latest version to utilize these new Chrome versions.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
