CSS Selector

I am very new, and I am trying to develop a web page for a client. And now he ask me to set upa GTM (Google Tag Manager) code in a couple of elements. It's not hard, but I faced a problem with one selector, it dosen't want to be tracked. I tried html element,CSS selector, xpath, nothing worked. Maybe I am doing something wrong and can't understand these element, please help.
This is the selector #menu-item-1671 > a and xpath //*[@id="menu-item-1671"]/a

Hi.
Can you provide the source of this element or screenshot of it, it's hard to solve it just knowing the name of the css selector.

It's a "Coupons" button on the top right corner. I am not sure that it's a problem with the element. I think I am doing something wrong.
