Adding Server IP address throws error

Hi,

While creating a new scenerio, I am adding my server's IP address. It throws error. I wanted to know if we need to follow any particular steps in order to monitor if the request hits the server or not. Also, do we need to install, LoadUI web on remote server as well in order to monitor it?

PFA: Dummy IP address has been used, but I receive the same Error.

    Hi Krinda,

    a) This forum is dedicated to TestComplete, another tool by SmartBear. LoadUIWeb forums are located here: http://loaduiweb.org/forums.html (though it might take a reasonable time to get a response there :( );

    b) Don't mix LoadUI and LoadUIWeb tools - they are quite different despite the similair name. http://loaduiweb.org/faqs/loaduiweb-general.html (5-th item) contains a good description of their defferences;

    c) Have you followed steps mentioned here (http://loaduiweb.org/docs/testing/running/monitoring/configuring-servers-for-monitoring.html) to set up your remote server?
  • Hi Alex,

    I went through the article, one of the points mentioned as technical requirement in that document is that "If you use Windows Server 2008 R2, then you must install the WoW64 component of this operating system." I tried to install it on my server, but throws error.

    I also posted the same question on the forum which you mentioned above, but no reply for the post.

    Hi Krinda,

    I am not sure what threw an error and what was this error about.

    If you succeeded to install WoW64 and the error was thrown by LoadUIWeb, than it would help if you provide the text (and, maybe, screenshot) of the error here.

    If the error was thrown while installing WoW, then this is a question to your IT support. Definitely, you may also post the error here, but there is no guarantee that it will be answered.
