TestComplete not lifting its finger when executing Gesture

Hey guys,

it's me again, this time I have some trouble with replaying gestures. Our app contains a list view. The user can swipe an entry to the right to rename it. To test this feature, I recorded the swipe. While recording the gesture, the app displayed the rename dialog as it should but when TestComplete replays the gesture, it ends up like this:

The app does not crash but no renaming dialog appears. I talked to our dev team and they say that the only reason why this can happen is that TestComplete does not  lift its finger from the screen after replaying the gesture.

What can I do to solve this?
