I am working on testing our website on mobile browser (Chrome). I am using Android device. Here is info on versions
Testcomplete : 12.5
Android version : 8.0
Device : Samsung Galaxy S8 plus
So I enabled the developer mode, Stay away is on and USB debugging is on. I recorded a small test and it works fine. Now I disconnected the device and after a day connected that again. At this point when I click on show mobile screen on test complete, it throws me error as "Unable to connect to device with device ID <id>". Here is a screen shot of the issue
An help will be appreciated.

Did you follow these steps yet? What happened?
I use galaxy S8 with Testcomplete mobile 12.31 and still have this problem.
"Unable to connect to the device with the ID <id>"
If you followed all the steps in the links mentioned in the posts above and are still having problems, then you should contact Support directly
You can upgrade to Testcomplete 12.5. I used to have the same issue. Turns out the issue was with the USB cable. Try changing the USB cable or connect the device over wifi and then try again
In addition to other replies, the support for Android 8 was added in TC 12.4 (https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/general-info/version-history/features-added-to-ver-1...)
Version of TestComplete?
Was application instrumented?
Is not instrumented application running fine on the same device?
Anything else that can give the smallest idea to others except the statement that something fails to run on the updated device?
