Unable to view Test results Summary received through email

I am trying to send 'Test execution summary' via email after the test execution. By using the 'SaveResultsAs' function I was able to get emails after the test execution.  But I am unable to view the test summary clicking at the HTML file which I receive in my email.

See the below screenshot of the email I receive

But when I open this in a browser, there is no data showing up. 

When I click preview, I can see an XML file.

So how can I view this HTML file? .What I am trying to achieve is to get the execution summary in HTML format( or any other readable format)

Hi @vsumathi, now your log is saved as a set of separate files. What you are sending out is just the main file.

Try exporting your log as a single file in MHT or PDF:

try IE for opening it, same result ?

Yes, I tried in IE  and Edge also, got the same result.

I still could not resolve the issue. My goal is to get my test execution summary automatically through email after completion of my test run.

Also, I tried to export the log as a single file in HTML format. But the problem is I am unable to open the file.

@vsumathi Have you tried exporting in the MHT format as suggested above?

 

It should have exactly the summary you need and you should be able to view it in your browser.
