TestComplete accessing excel in Win 10 needs driver no longer provided by win10. Where can I get it?

When we first installed Win10, TestComplete 12 could not read excel files. My colleague - who is no longer with us - identified the Excel driver, obtained, installed it, and we ran. Things were fine ...
