Running Web Tests specific to a particular browser
Hello, I have recently started using Test Complete to write some regression tests for a Web Based system.
When I originally wrote the tests in IE, they played back with no problems but I am now having problems with 'Object not identified' errors. I did notice that in my original tests, the scripts seemed to be specific to IE, whereas in my more recent tests, the scripts appear to be recorded for 'cross-browsing' juding by the icons (either an IE icon or a generic browser icon) in the script - please see attached file.
A particular problem is identifying a 'checkbox'. Is it possible to specify that Test Complete only records a test for a specific browser rather than for 'cross-browsing'?
