I am trying to reinstall test complete into my machine but i am recieving error as "Sentiner runtime environement installer failed wiht following error: unable to install CAT file".

Hi @djvakarjoshi1,

This is the licensing module. Please try reinstalling the HASP drivers by following these steps:
- Go to the following link: https://sentinelcustomer.gemalto.com/sentineldownloads/   
- Download "Sentinel HASP/LDK - Command Line Rune-time Installer".
- Extract every file.
- Open command prompt as an administrator.
- Shift+Right-click "hasplms.exe" (or "haspdinst.exe") and select "Copy as Path".
- Paste the file path into command prompt.
- Paste the path of the executable and add “-r -kp” as parameters. Run the command.
- Paste the path of the executable again but instead add “-i” as a parameter instead. Run the command.

I had this same issue today upgrading to TestComplete 14.3. I followed your steps and it worked! Thanks!

Hi,

 

If the standard

-- Uninstall;

-- Reboot;

-- Try to install

sequence does not help, then direct question to Support via the https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestComplete form would be the most optimal option.
