How to disable automatic code completion for things like ( ), [ ], " "

I have disabled the Auto Pop-Up Code completion option under the Options menu.  However, when typing (, [ & " still automatically types the enclosing set.  How can I disable that behavior?

This is a new feature of version 12.30 (personally, I like it).  However, it is not considered "code completion".

If you want the option to turn it off, there are feature requests already for that.  Go to https://community.smartbear.com/t5/TestComplete-Feature-Requests/Allow-option-to-shut-off-bracket-an... and vote it up to see about having SmartBear folks make the change.

Why automate?  I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy.  Sleep is a requirement.  So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
