Giving name to a job from Script

Hi

I'm writing a script which would add a list of jobs from an XML file. I have this feature Networksuite.jobs.addnew() which is great, but I'm not able to give a name to the job, it automatically creates a default name 😞 . WHenever I give jobObj.Name="SomeName" it reports saying error that it is a Read-only property.

1) First of all what is the reason behind it being a read-only property, when there's a feature to create a job?

2) How do I give it a name? Please dont tell me this feature is not implemented.

Thanks,

Mateen

RE: Giving name to a job from Script

Hello Mateen,

Currently, there is no way to give names to jobs from script. However, we have a suggestion to make it possible to do that, and your message has increased its rating.
