Checkpoint a menu option

Can anyone tell me how to place a checkpoint in a drop down menu?

When ever I attempt to do it (via mouse hover or CTRL SHIFT and A) it captures the object but then either

- The CheckPoint Wizard complains it isn't there as it has disappeared when the mouse cursor is no longer on it.

Or

- It captures the object but doesn't work in playback.

Any tips on how I can do this?

You can use the "On-Screen Action" operator, select the top-level menu item as the object, then select the HoverMouse method so the cursor will hover over it. You can then apply your checkpoint. Let me know if you need more help with this.

    Thanks
