hi,
I'm using TestComplete v12.10 with Edge browser on a Java application.
I'm not able to identify objects correctly in pop-up windows. Same window works fine with Firefox/Chrome/IE. Have you seen similar issue ?
Plz let me know if more details required.
regards,
Varun
Have you checked the prerequisites for testing with Edge?

Hey Marsha,
Thanks for your quick response. I did check all prerequisites. I'm just not able to get objects correctly in pop-up window in my application. The Object spy fails too.
Note that everything works just well in other browsers. Have no idea where is the problem. I had doubts in Edge's favorites bar enabling/disabling. But that is also giving inconsistent results.

Varun
Hi Varun,
What exact version of TC12.10 you are using? There was a similar problem with Chrome in the initial release of TC 12.10.590 and it was corrected in the 12.10.602 (that should be available on your customer site https://my.smartbear.com).
Hi Alex,
Sorry for late response.
I tried with TC v12.10.602.7, but still facing the problem. Not able to access objects on a pop-up page in Edge. TC gives wrong coordinates of objects.
Same page works fine with FF/Chrome/IE.
Pls let me know if I can provide some more info.
regards,
Varun
Hi Varun,
I think that the best option is to report problem to Support via https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestComplete form. It will definitely help if you can provide them with web address that they can access for their investigation.
P.S.
> Not able to access objects on a pop-up page in Edge. TC gives wrong coordinates of objects.
So, objects are identified but the clicks are done higher than object actually is? If the above is correct, try to hide the Favorites toolbar in Edge (if you have it displayed) and mention the result in the case reported to Support.
I have the same problem with Edge
there is any update?
modifying a lot of tests is not a good solution for me.
You can check with Support directly at this link:
