browser issue

Hello  ,

Im having Issue with Chrome. Tested apps defaults the web browser to IE or Edge. each time i had to manually map to chrome. I need testing be done in Chrome only im using 12.50 Version . Please suggest.

Hi,

 

Do you have Chrome installed?

Do you have TestComplete's Chrome Extension installed and active in Chrome?

If Chrome was installed after TestComplete you may try to reinstall TestComplete a-new.

yes for all three questions...I tried everything(installed test complete). I can see extension on my chrome browser only concern is,  it doesnt show up in drop down. if im selecting it manually it de-links.

Hi,

 

Hm-m... Sounds strange... And I failed to find something relevant in the documentation. So I would recommend to contact Support via the https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestComplete form.

 

P.S. Does it help (as a workaround) if you click the 'folder' icon to the right of the browsers list combo and point to the Chrome executable?
