TestComplete + Jira Script extension

I am using TestComplete Jira script extension where we can create Jira issue through TestComplete script .following the link

When I saw the issue in Jira - I found Under the Reporter - it show TestComplete . Is it expected ?

What is the requirement for Assignee ?

Jira.CreateNewBugData(....) . In this API i provided my email address and it throw the error - User does not exist.

Then I  provided another email address - which include our BA/QA Group and it work . So checking if there is requirement for Assignee ?
