Test complete get stuck for some time

Hi,

 

When we record long scenario with moving diffent pages along with many save operations( like - create different type question, roles, mostly grid save operations with many text and choice selections) . Test complete get stuck and we can't move further for few minutes.

Same think happen sometimes when we try to update any object mapping or add new operations through recording between our pre recorded keyword file.

 

Some times IE not get invoke after some updation or adding through recording and we have to do just open and close our IE browser to start test again.

 

All things not happend in regular manner but 3,4 times out of 10-12 attempts.

    Hi Shailesh

     

    Have you tried the same tests on Firefox or Chrome and are you able to reproduce the same behavior is those browsers?

      I tried same scenario on CHROME Version 47.0.2526.106 m with OS Win7.

      It shows error message -- Test complete Extension for Chrome : "Unsported operating system"."The Extension does not function on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003. To test , use another browser or run test on another OS"--.

      But we have Window 7 Professional - Service pack1

      So not able to test our scenario on Chrome OS.

        Hi 

         

        Are you using Chrome with guest login. We found out that Chrome support doesn't work when Chrome is running under the Guest account as it doesn't run any extension including the required TestComplete extension. Please review https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6130773?hl=en and verify if turning off Guest login, TestComplete works

      Also not able to test in FireFox. It invoke the browser but not key our URL to complete playback after successfully recorded.

      Error :

      URL: about:blank

      Info: Cannot find any existing or open blank page.
