-- Does TestComplete support used Telerik version (https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/general-info/supported-technologies/controls/telerik.html)?

Generally, TestComplete supports Telerik controls.  As to why selection is selecting the whole page, that I don't know.

While I don't recommend keeping the results of a recording long term, have you tried doing a simple recording against your application to see how TestComplete interacts with it?
