Tc hangs on find/Replace

In Tc v9.31 ,While using find/replace, if end of find string is reached then TC hangs.have to kill the process from the task manager.All my unsaved code is lost :( Screenshot attached

    Hi Murugan,

     


    I failed to reproduce this issue with TestComplete 10.20.


    If you are not planning to update your projects to the latest product version, I suggest that you contact our TestComplete Support team - in our DB, I see that there is a patch for a similar issue in TestComplete 9.31. They can provide you with the patch.

    Hi Murugan,

     


    What do you specify in the "Look in" field inside the Find/Replace dialog? Try setting Current Document or Panel.

    hi Pls try the simple step to reproduce the issue.



    -find the attached projectsuite



    -Open and  place the poiner at beginning of the script function in unit1



    -Open find/Replace dialog (shortcut 'Ctrl+H')



    - In find what text enter "xls"



    -In replace with text enter 'xlt'



    -now click the replace button until end of string is reached



    -at end tc shows "processing unit" msg and hangs

    Now it works fine.
