Object Checkpoint or Web Accessibility Checkpoint?

I am looking at a Test Complete project a company has setup here and there is a combination of Web Accessibility & Object checkpoints used for websites.

When simply checking if a website is operational? e.g. the page is rendered correctly post a login am I best to stick to using the Object or Web Accessibility. I have read the articles online but after something in layman's terms from people whi effectivley use this software.

Object checkpoints have been deprecated in recent versions of TestComplete in favor of a more robust method of using Property checkpoints.  So, I would steer away from Object checkpoints.

For your specific need, I would stick with the Web Accessibility checkpoints.  This checks page rendering, links, etc., after a page has loaded.
