Not able to select single property of a table in windows (Java) application testing

Hi,



I am a new bee to Test Complete. I am testing a windows based java application. This application is a scientific equipment interface software. This imports scientific data from the equipment in form of tabular and graphical representation on to desktop. When I select a value in the table, software supposed to show that particular value in the graph.



But when I try to compare the values in the table and graph using checkpoint (in the TestComplete), the whole table is being selected instead of that particular value.Same is the case with the graph too.



Do I need to install any plug-in's to test Java application? It would be great if somebody could help me on this.

    Hi,



    Grid cells are internal, grids do not expose them as individual objects. You cannot select cells in the object tree. As for working with them, see the "Working With Grids" help topic.
