No check on (in)correct namemapping configuration ?!

I have created a test which changes the namemapping configuration, as described in :

however, as a test, I changed the name to a non-existing configuration name (see attached screenshot). I expected TestComplete to fail during test run however no errors occurs.



I am not sure... Is this correct behaviour of TC?

Shouldn't this be checked by TC when tests are run?



Please I'd like to hear your feedback on this issue.

    As far as I see, the Support Team has created a suggestion to verify the Name Mapping configuration at design time in our DB.

    Hi Tanya,

    thanks for the feedback. I surely do hope this function will be implemented, as this would - in my opinion - be a significant improvement to TC.
