Is there a way to use TC to compare a whole page in one environment to the same page in another?

Question

Looking to find an automated way to compare how the product page for each new item we will be adding to our inventory compares between the Staging Environment and how it appears on the Production Environment.

There have been issues in the past where all was well in Staging, but was not in Production (wrong image, pricing, text, spacing, etc).

We will be adding several hundred items this year. And right now the compare process in manual.

Any ideas? Or is there another tool out there anyone has heard of with this sort of functionality?

Can you get to the pages in each environment from the same test machine, say just by switching URLs?

Sounds like property checkpoints... store the value of a property from one page in a variable, navigate to the other page, do a property checkpoint to compare the property on the second page to the stored variable property... lather, rinse, repeat.

Robert - Thank you for responding:&nbsp;But checkpoints for every single object on hundreds of unique product information pages? &nbsp;Ouch. That would take weeks to set up - and only be used once. &nbsp;New products every year.&nbsp;I was hoping for something along the lines of a screen compare feature. &nbsp;Scan the page in Staging, then compare it to the page in Production, and note any differences. &nbsp;Similar to how CrossBrowser compares the same pages for the same URL on multiple browsers.&nbsp;I'm thinking TC is not the tool for this.

Try a Web Comparison checkpoint then... compares page to stored page.
