I've a Drop Down Panel with large selection of items and each itmes has checkbox next to it, and user can check multiple selection.
I'm trying to check the first item from the drop down list and this is dynamic Text. Object identifier and object type is the same. It's the object label that changes. i'm just not sure how do i use the index to create the first item from the list. any suggestion will help
Without seeing the properties of the object and / or it's parent we can't offer much help with just a screenshot.
If you could use the object browser and and take screenshots of all of the properties that would help.
object property screen shot is attached. i can get to the parent object but can't click the item because the item is dynamic,,,,, Thanks
Not seeing anything attached.
Working with dropdown lists
TcxComboBox is a good one.
If you are scripting then it may be easier to just use the index value of the checkbox from the list.
What do the properties of your dropdown box look like? Usually they will have a ClickItem method.
Is all of the checkbox label dynamic or just portions of it. For example dose it always say Include all <X> item? If that is the case you could use FindChildEx with a wild carded value.
