Execution with xpath is too slow in TC 12.5

Question

Hi,My application is an angular js web app. I am automating this in IE. When i use findChildByXpath or EvaluateXpath is taking too much time. When i am trying to find list of item with EvaluateXpath with //div//&lt;SOME props=""&gt;//li its is taking more than 15 minutes to get count of 300. Is there anyway i can increase the execution speed&lt;/SOME&gt;

Yes.&nbsp; Don't use XPath.TestComplete has a built in object recognition engine that works pretty amazing.&nbsp; xPath actually does a full search of the entire DOM while the NameMapping Engine from TestComplete only searches the specified hierarchy.Read up on using NameMapping and adjust your methodology to use the TestComplete tool rather than relying on Selenium methodology.
