Re: Azure devops add on in test complete

could you try going into the File (top left tab) -> install extensions -> common -> enable the Azure DevOps Support Plugin?

Then once you go into your current project properties, you should see the Azure DevOps tab and the option of binding it to your Azure Project. image.png

Re: Azure devops add on in test complete

Not that I want to do it myself, but I'm curious just for my personal knowledge.

I looked in my own installation of TestComplete and I don't see that plug-in available in the Common section.  Is there a pre-requisite, installation package, or something else that needs to be done to make that available?

Why automate?  I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy.  Sleep is a requirement.  So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

I'm currently looking into the issue as I've always had this plugin inside the commons section. If you wouldn't mind sharing - what version of testcomplete are you using?

Re: Azure devops add on in test complete

I was using 14.10 and it wasn't there... I upgraded just now to 14.30 and the item is there.

Perhaps that's the problem with the OP...  this might be an item that is not available until 14.30.

@prajakta , please check what version of TestComplete you're using.  The DevOps option you're trying to find isn't available until 14.20.

Re: Azure devops add on in test complete

building upon @tristaanogre 's response:

This plugin exists only in TC 14.20 and 14.30. If the version is correct, a user can click on the Add button in the Install Extensions dialog and choose the C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 14\x64\Bin\Extensions\tcTFS.pls file. The plugin should appear in the list
