recording not able to capture https post requests

hi



i am using test complete 8.5 and IE browser for recording.



When i am recording a test website in http mode, every thing is working fine. i am able to see both the get and post requests.

even ran SQL profiler and charles profiler to verify the request count.



But when recording in https mode i am not able to see any of the post requests.

when i run back the scripts it is not hitting the database.



As per the help, there should not be any difference in recording for http and https if IE browser is used.

    Hi,


    This is a known HTTPS traffic recording issue, but, unfortunately, the load testing feature of TestComplete is currently frozen and, as far as I know, no fixes for the issue are available.

    However, SmartBear offers a new product, LoadComplete, which is fully dedicated to load testing (you can read more about LoadComplete's features and download a trial version here).

    The HTTPS recording issue is to be fixed in the next LoadComplete update.
