The remote Log is not available !!

Since the upgrade to TC8 i have been seeing this way too many times !!!

So after the test execution is completed, in the Log items section, TC shows a yellow exclamation mark next to the test section and below it, it shows a green check box and the text  "The remote Log is not available".

1- I don't see the point of having a green checkmark if you can't get the remote log. Minor but needs to be addressed in the future.



2- and most importantly, The remote log is available!!!!! but why can't TC see it, find it, and get it ?

So far i can say that this does not seem to be OS specific, it occured on  WIN XP PRO, WIN 7 PRO, WIN2K3 AND WIN 2K8. At the same time, TC was able to pull the remote logs for other tests on other hosts running the exact same OSs listed above !





the worst part so far is not knowing why this FAILS.. i don't know if there an error log somewhere that provides a specific error message which can shed some light on this !



Does anyone have the same problem  ??
