Recording a test, how to select item 1 on drop down, rather then text

Hello

I use the recorder to create tests and click around my software which has dropdown combos in it, however, the text changes in these combos and when I rerun the test it of course it can not find the text, is there a way I can select option 1 on the list every time, without converting the whole recording to a script, below is a screen shot of what i mean
