Issue with the Network suite in TestComplete8.2v.. Please help!!!

Hi Team,



I have installed TestComplete8.2 v in client m/c and ras8.2 and windows application in server, and followed the steps give below.

1.created the networksuite in testcomplete and added host

2.Given all credentials(domain, username, password and ipaddress of slave)

3.Firewall settings to OFF

4.Trying to verify the connection b/w slave and Master..

But i am getting Server not started error eventhough all setting are correct.. Please help me in getting this problem resolved.

Is there any issue with the TestComplete8.2? and defect is raised for this? Please help me soon..

    Hello Manoj,




    Please note that the Remote Agent is used for load testing only. Network Suite and Load Testing are different and unrelated features. Please review the Load Testing of Web Servers With TestComplete - Overview and the Distributed Testing - Overview help topics to know what they are for.




    In your particular situation, since you are creating a distributed test using Network Suite, you should have the same versions of TestComplete or TestExecute installed on both the master and slave machines. Read more about the "Message - Verification failed." problem here, as it was suggested in this thread.
