Can we automate Oracle R6i reports through Test complete.?

Question

Hello.,&nbsp;&nbsp; We have a WMS application built on Oracle R6i, which I need to automate using Test Complete, I tried to spy the objects but it is identifying the whole window as one object, it is not able to spy the internal objects, and it's child count is also Zero.&nbsp; I tried record and playback but whenever i try to record on this application Test Complete hangs, but on other application it works fine.&nbsp;please suggest me an workaround ASAP.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks in advance...&nbsp;

Yes, I have gone through that documentation but it is of no use.

Another thing is, whenever i try to spy my oracle r6i application Test Complete gets hanged. I need to start the task manager and kill the test complete process and restart it.

What is the type of your application&nbsp;Java EE container inside a web page or out-of-browser (by using Java Web Start).?

It's java application which will work out of browser using Jinitiator plugin.

Have you make sure whether the all&nbsp;requirements completed successfully based on the Test Complete support document?

Oracle Forms Control Support Extension should be checked in the File &gt; Install Extension
&nbsp;

If all the above is okay then you should be able to identify the Object.
