BDD scenarios do not create logs if the on start event is used

I encountered an error which is the follow: when I want to run a BDD feature from script (right click -> run this feature file), if I have the on start event added to the project, the testrun will not create log. The test will do what it is supposed to do, but i can't see the steps in the log. If I add it to the test items and run the feature from there it works fine. The reason why we use events, because we used to write script tests, but know we would like to change to BDD tests. I tried the same test with the provided bdd sample program, where I only added the event nothing else and it still does not create log. Is this is a know bug? Or am I doing something wrong?
