create seperate drop down in description.

I need to create an seperate description using markdown, to show some basic error code information about application. So i need to create an dropdown box with some x values and on selecting the x value, I need to show an Y table . But I am not able to find any example to create dropdown. I wanted to know that is it possible to create an seperate dropdown?

    Markdown (or CommonMark) is a superset of HTML. This means that you can actually use any HTML tag in it for rendering. So anything tthat's not covered directly by CommonMark can be manually added that way.
