Provide external description to io.swagger.annotations.ApiOperation

Hi Team,
New to swagger, Is there a way that we can externalize the API descriptions in the swagger-ui?
Requirement : 

The DEV team will write new APIs and the same will be documented with swagger API docs and pushed to github.

The product/marketing team that does not have access to github needs to update the description of the API's so that they can be shared across for integrations.

If the API details can be fetched from a remote location/file, DEV team can provide placeholders for the API description & product can fill in the details.

Can someone please let me know if that can be achieved currently or if there is any workaround for this requirement?
