Deeplinking examples swagger UI

I would like to create a sequence diagram that references the concrete body/response used in the call. I know how to reference a certain resource/endpoint in Swagger UI, however I don't know how to reference an example externally. How would I go about pointing to an example of a resource in Swagger UI?
