soapUI Pro 3.0, nothing happens when I choose any 'DataSource:' in dropdown

I've successfully configued a mysql JDBC connection (the 'Test connection:' succeeds,) but when I create a DataSource in my Test Steps nothing happens when I choose "JDBC" or for that matter any option in the dropdown.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks, JH

    User error -- or maybe something is fishy with the UI mouse selection.  I was able to choose a selection from the drop-down when right-clicking on the target.  This appears to be the behavior in several other dialogs.
