Why environmentId is created in each test suite xml file

In SoapUI Pro i add a new environment property.  As i go to push my updated to my repository, i notice that every single test suite xml file in my project has been updated with a new environmentId. This is very annoyingly frustrating when my project contains large list of test suite. It makes the process of committing changes very time consuming. Is there a reason for Ready API to do this, and is there a way to avoid this from happening?
