Indeed there is some valuable material under the "What's New" tab. In particular, I commend whomever decided to create that brief video tutorial about capturing HTTP traffic ("API Discovery") to create a test case. Short videos like that are a great idea.
But . . .
This page mentions only version 1.7, and only mentions a couple of the many things that went into 1.7. It's good marketing material, but not good technical material. 1.8 has already been released, but isn't mentioned, nor is there any information whatsoever on earlier releases. Compare what you find there to the technical information at http://readyapi.smartbear.com/about/release_notes/v170/soapui.
And
The download page (https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/readyapi/ for Ready!API, and others for other products) has no link to either of these pages of release notes. I think it should have links to http://readyapi.smartbear.com/about/release_notes/start. I am used to finding release notes on download pages, so that's where I look for them. I don't think I'm alone on this.
I think we've beaten this horse to death. I think my suggestions are simple, worthwhile, and easy to implement, but if you folks disagree, I'm not going to spend any more time on the issue.
I also want to repeat my praise for that little educational video. A little bit of tutorial example like this goes a long way. Make more of those!
Best Regards
