Is it possible to install an app from the apple store?
Hello, I don't have the .ipa file to upload but the application we use for testing is available in the apple store. Is it possible to download and install an application from the apple store using the iOS devices from BitBar instead of uploading the .ipa file? Thanks.Solved11 months agoPlace BitBar QuestionsBitBar Questions658Views0likes1Comment[TestComplete] [ERROR] An exception occurred: java.nio.channels.ClosedChannelException.
Does anyone know why this error appears randomly when I run my test cases through Jenkins? There are no details on the error, no hints of what could have gone wrong, no nothing. I appreciate any help to resolve this because other tools don't have these problems, only TestComplete does.447Views0likes2CommentsJenkins pipeline result
Hello, I have a few build jobs in Jenkins configured to launch my test cases using tags. My TestComplete is configured to re-run failed tests up to 2 times. When the execution ends, I see the build failed, but all my test cases are passed (I suppose the "failure" is because one of the tests passed on re-run). Is this a bug in Jenkins or the TestComplete plugin? We are running test cases, and it's normal that something fails but works the following time during the same run, and it should allow me to choose whether to ignore those "failures but passed on re-run", and not fail the whole build. Any suggestions on how to bypass this problem?440Views0likes0CommentsRe: Looking for possible solutions to error: Test runner exit code: -10 Unable to create a user session
Thanks for the suggestionsrraghvani unfortunately, none of them worked. I made all the changes the people in those posts made, but I am still getting the "-10 Unable to create a user session" error. I wish Smartbear invested some money from the licenses and provided more clear and specific errors to the users.431Views0likes0CommentsLooking for possible solutions to error: Test runner exit code: -10 Unable to create a user session
I configured a Jenkins agent, and build job to launch my test cases from the pipeline. Everything has been configured according to the documentation, the build job is very simple: git pull, then execute testcomplete in interactive mode to run some tests by tag name. The git pull is executed properly, but at the step that testcomplete is executed this error appears:[TestComplete] Test runner exit code: -10 (Unable to create a user session). The build job is configured to use an interactive session and all pop ups have been disabled according to the documentation. I want to ask to whoever configured their jenkins pipelines: if you had this error, which was the problem and how did you solve it? Thanks.497Views0likes3CommentsRe: <tr> <td> having problems with tables inside of a iFrame and with same image buttons
Find all those elements with the same ID/class name/tag name, you'll get an array/list of elements, then you have to click them by position. You could loop on each element of the list and ask for the Text/textContent and if it includes the value you expect (e.g. "Application") then you can break the loop and click that one.544Views0likes1CommentiOS Mobile testing with physical device
Hello, our project mostly works in Windows, but we're now developing the iOS version of one of our apps. I have no experience with mobile testing, so for those who do, I would like to ask the following questions before I go through the 300 pages of documentation from the Smartbear page: 1- Can I connect an iOS physical device to a Windows desktop device and execute TestComplete from the Windows device to perform actions on both machines? 2- Can I integrate an iOS physical device to a remote desktop with Windowsand execute TestComplete from the Windows remote desktop to perform actions on both places? Thanks.397Views0likes1CommentRe: TestComplete Professional purchase does not include bitbar?
rjoycewrote: Our company purchased testComplete for the ability to test our mobile applications. It has just come to our attention that this is falsely advertised? We pay $5000 for the license and now find that in order for us to actually perform the mobile testing, we ALSO need to purchase access to bitbar? This seems quite unfair to require us to pay twice. just my opinion, you could just try some free open source tool to do the same kind of testing and spend your money on those real mobile devices it will be a pain to do mobile testing with test complete, the number of configurations and crazy stuff you'll have to make just to make the most simple test work will not be worth the money505Views0likes1Comment
