[Res] Any possibilities for storing data source in Soap proj

Hi,

I know we use datasource step to connect to outside source files (either excel, CSV etc...). But whenever we ship a project to repository, physically it is 2 files one is project file (.xml) and other is Datasource file (.xls). Is there any possibility to store the inputs in the project file itself or any possible to embed the whole input excel content inside the soap project itself?

    By "repository" do you mean some sort of source control? You can export the project which will create a zip file containing the project XML and data sources in a single file you could check in.

    The downside is that no path structure is saved so you'd either have to manually re-create it or update your datasource(s).

    I don't know that embedding would be possible based on how the datasource is setup.
