[RESOLVED] Coverage Analysis not reporting nodes used in request

Hello,

Could it be that the request goes out without any data in those fields? If the request contains the elements listed but they are empty (or contain ? only), you won't get coverage for them unless you explicitly specify that you want this in the coverage settings panel. Could you post the actual raw request?

I'm afraid I cannot provide the WSDL.  Are there some logging options or other avenues of troubleshooting we can try?

Not sure if this what you were after exactly but here is the message inspector for the message itself.  One thing I find odd is the placement of ? symbols instead of the variables that are actually in the request.  I wasn't able to capture the entire message but I think the segment that is shown appears to demonstrate that the tool believes these nodes are covered.  "?" are configured not to count as coverage in the coverage options.

thanks.. the message-inspector always contains a "default" message to show which nodes that are missing from the actual request. In your case the following seems to be happening (although I would need the XML Schema for the message to be absolutely sure);

- the three elements in the con:identity are flagged as red since they are either missing or have a different namespace than the one that seems to be declared in the schema (ie the elements defined in the schema are missing from the request)
- the con:id element seems to be missing from the request
- I don't know why the birthday and anniversary elements are flagged as red (since they are in the request).. what is their datatype in the schema?

I am guessing the remaining errors are "further down", maybe you can post a complementary screen-shot?

The date fields were removed from the request in the interim (between the posting of the "raw" request and the posting of the screenshots.  What is showing "red", I'm ok with because I'm not using these fields.  What I'm concerned with is we are using almost 90% of the fields however the TestSuite coverage tool (and the export to HTML) shows no nodes covered.
