Project test-steps can be opened, edited and run in SOAPUI but not in ReadyAPI

I thought that all of the SOAP UI projects could be opened in ReadyAPI.

 

However I have a project whose test-steps can be opened in SOAP UI, but not in ReadyAPI. (The project itself can be opened in ReadyAPI, just not the test steps) Are Ready API not 100% compatible with SOAP UI projects. It is a real bummer to run just one test-suite in SOAPUI.

 

Wondering if anyone else has seen similar behavior and what the cause of this maybe.

    Hi Anurag,

    Ready! API should be able to open all the SoapUI projects.

    Can you please tell us which test step is it? Or provide a sample project with which we can reproduce the issue.

    Is the test step in-built in SoapUI or is it provided by a plugin?

    I'm not quite sure but maybe because Ready API uses "Composite Project" a folder based project, while SoapUI uses xml based project (the whole project is .xml). Composite Project in SoapUI is available in pro version.

      By default, Ready! API also uses single XML file based project, unless you change it's type and save it in composite format.
