CPU Usage is high while calling testrunner.bat

We have availability check , implemented , using testrunner.bat .

CPU Usage spikes very high while calling testrunner.bat

Each time a new soapui project is called, via testrunner.bat, the cpu usage spikes in the range of 30-70 %

What can be done , so that the cpu usage is constrained and does not burden other applications
