my soap ui failed to open work space and default xml has all NULLS. I am wondering why this happened

My soap UI failed to open the workspace and giving illegal xml error. When I opened the default xml, it has all NULLS in it. I am wondering why this happened all of a sudden while I am using this for...

Did you see any error during closing soapui?  if you don't care about your project, you can create empty project from right click menu. The workspace xml file is just a space to store the link of your soapui project.
